Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor experience to undertake a long-term contract working on complex equipment.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background inAutodesk Inventor to support a project undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life-cycle.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :
- Conceptualise mechanical ideas
- Undertake detailed design
- Support procurement and manufacturing teams to produce prototypes
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to produce technical documentation including Bill of Materials (BOMs) CAD drawings, work instructions schematics and similar
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have;
- Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment
- Experience working on complex mechanical equipment
- 3D CAD - AutoCAD Inventor
