The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to monitor and enhance student progress.
  • Work with childen who may display challening behaviours
Requirements

To be considered, you must:? Be available to start in January 2025.? Have the right to work in the UK.? Hold a DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.? Be able to drive, as school locations are not easily accessible by public transport.? Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.

Desirable
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support.
