Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience working in a UK school and a strong desire to support children in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students, particularly those with SEN.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Support students with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of six month's experience in a UK primary school (essential).
- Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred).
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
