Job Title: Electrical Mechanical Engineer/Installation and Service Technician
Location: Milton Keynes

Summary of the Role: We are seeking an experienced Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic engineering and electrical team. The primary focus of this role is the installation, commissioning, and removal of both new and used packaging machinery at customer sites. This position requires national and international travel, including occasional weekends and short notice assignments, making flexibility essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission packaging machinery, including casemakers, printer slotters, folding/stitching/gluing machines, strappers, digital printers, cutting tables, and diecutting equipment.
- Conduct machinery removals at customer sites.
- Provide breakdown and machinery service support between installations.
- Perform electrical refurbishment of used equipment at the Milton Keynes facility.
- Build, wire, and test control panels.
- Program and configure HMI and PLC systems.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Preferably experienced in the corrugated industry.
- Proficient in control panel building, wiring, and testing.
- Skilled in HMI and PLC programming.
- Forklift licence, working at height licence, and welding/machining experience are advantageous but not essential (training available).
- Ability to work flexibly and travel on short notice.
Benefits:
- Hourly pay based on a 37.5-hour week (08:00 - 16:00)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x on Monday - Saturday, and 2x on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
