EC&I Engineer

LOCATION - Newport PagnellSALARY - £45,000 to £47,000 per annum (plus annual bonus)Teknikal Specialist Recruitment are working with a well-established engineering company based in Newport Pagnell who are looking to hire an Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer.The EC&I Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering Or Electronic Engineering. • Experience in control system design, instrumentation, and automation.• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and industrial control systems.• Experience with process instrumentation, sensors, and actuators.• Understanding of electronic & electrical schematics. • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.• Ability to troubleshoot, commission, and maintain control systems.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.The EC&I Engineer role will involve:• Designing, developing, and implementing control and instrumentation systems.• Selecting and integrating process instrumentation for various applications.• Carrying out system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.• Working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to meet specifications.• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.• Supporting the maintenance and improvement of existing control systems.
