Electrical Engineer - Milton Keynes, BuckinghamshireSalary: £35k - £48k (dep on exp) + excellent benefits  We have a brand-new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a highly respected and well-established Milton Keynes-based automation technology. This role will see the Electrical Engineer provide specialist Electrical Support to an array of customers, supporting them with complex Electrical issues within automation machinery.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to continuously develop their skills and knowledge through training and hands-on experience, as well as contributing to the growth of market share by working closely with the external sales team.  This Electrical Support Engineer position will suit a proactive individual with an electrical bias, and a passion for problem-solving and customer satisfaction. You will be collaborating with the internal and external customer providing high level technical support, developing and delivering training sessions, and developing and delivering detailed reports and recommendations, and therefore excellent communication skills are a must, along with strong technical knowledge.  You will contribute to the development and introduction of new products, conduct market and competitor analysis to stay informed about new trends, and take part in industry events and exhibitions, so you should thrive in a dynamic work environment, and be willing to travel to UK customer sites when necessary. You will need to have a good in Electrical Engineering able to fault find and diagnoses Electrical issues within Special purpose machinery / automation systems. Previous experience with serial interface, PLC’s or Electric drives would be advantageous.  The Electrical Engineer / Support Engineer will ideally have the following skills & experience:  
  • A degree or HND qualification in Electronics, Electromechanical or other engineering discipline.
  • 5 years recent and relevant experience in Electrical Engineering support .
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – encompassing a range of communication channels. (e.g. Phone, emails, Teams calls, Webinars etc.)
  • Methodical, organised problem-solver, able to keep clear and comprehensive records.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, with hands-on testing and diagnostics experience.
  • Enthusiasm for energy-saving initiatives and sustainability.
