We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the electrical power industry, seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join their dynamic and growing UK-based engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to undertake power system analysis and design while providing expert technical support across a range of industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct power system analysis and design across various industries.
- Perform electrical system studies, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, harmonic analysis, and protection studies.
- Support product development, software testing, and related technical activities.
- Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and training to clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, vendors, and management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in electrical power system analysis and design.
- Strong understanding of engineering and mathematical principles for software design, coding, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with power system analysis software.
- Proficiency in modelling and analysis of industrial and distribution power systems.
- Knowledge of Power Management Systems and their applications.
- Excellent analytical skills to address technical queries from clients.
