Electromechanical Site Engineer

Our client are a well-established and professional publishers who are seeking a Site Engineer based in Milton Keynes on a full-time permanent basis.

Responsibilities of theSite Engineer

• Maintenance of production equipment.
• Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with suppliers of production equipment.
• Source spare parts as required.
• Maintain stock levels of critical parts.

Requirements for a successfulSite Engineer

• 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong electronics background.
• 3 years of mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• City & Guilds/NVQ or comparable qualification essential.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) City & Guilds 2382 qualification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks including lifting, carrying, standing, squatting, crawling etc.
• Organisational skills.
• Attention to detail.
