Our client is a well-established and professional publishers who is seeking a Site Engineer based in Milton Keynes on a full-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities of the Site Engineer
- Maintenance of production equipment.
- Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with suppliers of production equipment.
- Source spare parts as required.
- Maintain stock levels of critical parts.
Requirements for a successful Site Engineer
- 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong electronics background.
- 3 years of mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- City & Guilds/NVQ or comparable qualification essential.
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) City & Guilds 2382 qualification preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks including lifting, carrying, standing, squatting, crawling etc.
- Organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
