- You will coordinate with the Project Coordinator on the commissioning work to be performed on-site and the set schedule.
- Coordinating with the Site Supervisor and/or Senior Installation Engineer regarding handover of installation work.
- Involves commissioning the machine based on the Acceptance Protocol, including starting the machine after installation.
- Checking the machine for correct connection of all parts (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and software).
- Point of contact for technical aspects during commissioning at customer location, providing feedback to Project Coordinator.
- Identifying bottlenecks, both technical and planning to the Project Coordinator.
- Performing various test runs for production based on the Acceptance Protocol.
- Solving technical problems.
- Recording and te-rugging to the PC all machine parameters at the time of transfer to the customer.
- Giving instruction and training to machine operators about the operation and maintenance of the machine.
- Assessing the level of knowledge of the machine operator and giving feedback about this to the Project Coordinator.
- Process Improvement, Quality, reporting and Safety.
- Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and electrical systems.
- previous experience working as a Commissioning Engineer
- Experienced in root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on a range of electrical and mechanical breakdowns repair of plant, machinery, and services.
- Ability to interpret and follow electrical drawings and schedules.
- Willing to Travel and work away (with a compensation package)
- NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
