MPI is looking for a Permanent Mechanical, Mechatronics / Electromechanical Engineer, for our client based in Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes

The Company:

The client is a global market leader in pneumatics and industrial automation technology. They are currently expanding, providing growth opportunities for those who join.

The Role:

The successful engineer will be required to deliver the best technical support to customers, the European subsidiaries, the Japanese Technical Centre, and the Headquarters. Within the role, the engineer will be required to:

  • Support testing of products for customers
  • Support products development activities
  • Answer technical inquiries from our subsidiaries
  • Investigate product claims
  • Prepare various technical documentation
  • Identify, develop, and deliver training
  • Perform market research
  • Provide support for new products launches

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or Electromechanical degree, 2:2 minimum
  • A willingness to learn Basic Electrical Engineering principles.
  • Experience of writing technical reports.
  • SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
  • A valid in date passport, as there will be some European travel in the role. 
  • Excellent spoken and written English.


Desirable, but not essential skills:

  • Experience with design and principle of operation of temperature control equipment.
  • Experience of designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery.
  • Experience of planning and managing own projects.
  • Experience of working with customers and suppliers.
  • LabView
  • Japanese language skills.
  • Technical training experience.
