National Installation EngineerSalary: £43,860 plus 13% of salary and excellent benefits(Field-Based Role)Location - Milton Keynes - A top 10 global, award-winning company seeks a National Installation Engineer to join their successful team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a National Installation Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer of pathology instrumentation used in NHS and private laboratories. This role will be a permanent role supporting customers in the UK and Ireland.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Build & Installation of Medical InstrumentsComplete Pre-Builds as per company standards at Milton Keynes site in-line with correct company process.Installation of equipment at customer site in line with regulatory and site requirements.Liaise with customers to ensure that the equipment is working to expectations and working in line with project outline.Support Regional Field service team.Communicate with Customers, Peers and management effectively.Install and build training to be completed at Milton Keynes site.Essential requirements:

  • Flexible to attend training in the UK as well as Europe as required.
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering for carrying out instrument builds.
  • Understanding of Hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
  • Exceptional technical fault-finding skills.
  • The ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
  • Customer focused - should strive to exceed customer requirement.
  • Good and effective written and verbal communicator.
  • Good working knowledge in MS Windows.
  • General knowledge in MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must hold a full UK driving license.

Desirable Requirements:

  • HND (HNC with relevant experience) or equivalent in electronic and mechanical engineering.
  • Technical training on haematology/medical related instrumentation.
