Position: Panel Wirer

Salary - 15 - 18 per hour

Location: Milton Keynes

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Panel Wirer to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Milton Keynes.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Panel Wirer to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Role

  • Interpret and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Assemble electrical control panels, including mounting components and wiring.
  • Perform wiring tasks such as crimping, soldering, and terminating cables.
  • Adhere to safety standards and company protocols at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for wiring and assembly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in electrical assembly
