Job Description

Role: Electrical SupervisorLocation: Milton Keynes Salary: From £40,921.92Contract: Full Time - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a Category A male prison. Join a supportive and driven family working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

The prison operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning smoothly. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of the facility, impacting every prisoner, employee, visitor, and the wider community.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Promote rehabilitation and positive change.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an Electrician, ideally within an FM environment or similar sectors.
  • Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations.
  • Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.
  • Previous experience leading teams and taking operational responsibility.
  • Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th edition.
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance, planning, and project management.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills.
