Qualified Electrician

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Electrician based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established and busy electrical engineering company predominantly working in the commercial sector.

Responsibilities of theElectrician

• First and second fix installations.
• Fault finding.
• Installation of conduit and trunking systems.
• 3 phase installations.
• Lighting and emergency lighting upgrades.
• Fitouts.
• EICR Testing.
• Complete NICEIC certification.
• Cable drop installations.

Requirements for a successful Electrician

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation & Maintenance as well as Level 3 in Inspection & Testing.
• AM2 qualified.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Ability to work at heights and follow schematics, diagrams and technical drawings.
• Minimum 5 years experience within a similar role within the commercial sector.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of Apple products.

Summary of the Electrician role

Salary: From £40,000 d.o.e. and qualifications
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm.
** You must be flexible as you may be required to work night shifts, or differing hours depending on client requests**
