The role…

As the Hardware Test Development Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

  • Facilitate design, development and support of test systems for power and magnetic products designed. 
  • 70% hardware test development and 30% software based.
  • Organise and perform project work.
  • Design of in-house test equipment and ancillary departmental systems (hardware and software).
  • Primary Test Platform software development support.
  • Generate plans for new work and oversee technician work.
  • Provide technical support.
  • Maintain parametric data on test parameters.
  • Facilitate repair and calibration of Test systems.

The experience required…

As a successful Hardware Test Development Engineer, you will have the following:

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in a hardware and power/electronics environment.
  • Educated to degree level in the Electronics field or time served as a Test Development Engineer.
  • Familiarity with principles of testing of power components (DC-DC Converters primarily).
  • Experience with NI TestStand and test fixture design.
  • Knowledge of C# or other .NET languages.
  • Automation Experience particularly in Manufacturing/Test Environment.
