Finance Analyst (Part Qualified) - Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office) - 3M FTC (Ongoing)

Overview:A leading, fast paced, well established organisation you are likely to have heard of is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join their team on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract basis, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) and eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial performance, identifying key trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Assist with financial modelling and scenario planning to support business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support to various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling) and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Prior experience in a hybrid working environment is advantageous.
