Description
Financial Analyst
- Prepare detailed financial reports, monthly management accounts, and variance analyses.
- Analyze production costs, overheads, and profitability at the product and plant levels.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support short- and long-term planning.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory valuation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with operations to optimize efficiency.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, labor, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with production managers to understand operational challenges and their financial impact.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders, including production, supply chain, and senior management.
- Support strategic initiatives and investment decisions with robust financial analysis.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting as needed
Profile
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
