AJ Chambers is representing a top 15 firm in search of an Audit Assistant Manager.

This firm builds strong, trusted client relationships and serves a diverse range of businesses, from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. They offer a comprehensive suite of services across the UK, driving growth and long-term success.

Your role Responsibilities

  • Manage client correspondence, scheduling, and audit planning.
  • Supervise and review work of senior and junior staff, ensuring the file is complete and all review points are addressed before it is passed to the partner and manager
  • Handle critical audit areas and occasional advisory work
  • Monitor budgets, deadlines, and progress on audits
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff
  • Assist with business development, tenders, and networking
  • Conduct client on-site visits and appraisals
  • Involved in tenders and presentations on audits & accounts

Your Qualifications needed

  • ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong audit experience (planning to completion)
  • Up-to-date CPE and recent developments in accounting standards (SORP, FRS 102)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Sage, CaseWare, and related software
  • Supervisory experience and strong communication skills
