Main duties:
- Audit of a large range of corporate clients including groups and overseas subsidiaries
- Reporting directly to partners and liaising with other managers as required
- Planning, supervision and review of audit and accounts cases including preparing notes for partners
- Main point of contact with clients and liaising with clients both face to face and on the phone/video- link/email on day to day issues
- Assisting staff with technical accounting and auditing problems
- Identifying and capitalising on opportunities and prospects for new work
- Delivering confident and clear presentations of service features and benefits to clients
- Assessing and producing high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements
- Taking ownership of projects, effectively delegating to others within the team and taking responsibility for quality control.Actively seeking to enhance expertise and knowledge
- Developing the audit function in Milton Keynes and synchronising with the other offices
- Supervision and development of staff and providing leadership to the department
- Assisting in preparation and delivery of pitches for new clients
- Billing and monitoring actual costs against budgets and reporting to partners on variances
- Drafting bills on a monthly basis for review by partners
- Liaising with the Corporate Business Tax department in relation to the preparation and review of corporation tax computations
Qualifications:
