The Role

This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who is used to going beyond routine tasks, and focus on client growth. As a Client Manager (Advisory), you will act as a strategic finance partner to an SME client base, guiding them through challenges and opportunities with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Advisory: Build meaningful client relationships, understand their goals, and deliver tailored financial advice.
  • Quarterly Health Checks: Evaluate financial performance, identify cash flow pinch points, and provide actionable strategies to support growth.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team during client meetings, contributing to business development and delivering insights that add real value.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior team members, share expertise, and support process improvements.
What You'll Bring
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with at least 4 years of practice experience.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted client relationships.
  • Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Dext) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, client-first mindset.
  • A strategic perspective, with the ability to see the bigger picture and deliver actionable insights.
