Role Overview:

These positions will involve finance business partnering to support the finance department, particularly during the implementation of a new ERP system. You'll be working closely with different business divisions to build budgets and forecasts, assess financial performance, understand variances, and provide insightful challenge and support. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing internal management reports and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with budget holders to review, monitor, and challenge monthly financial performance.
  • Prepare and analyse divisional financial reports, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Undertake monthly reviews with budget holders, offering constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support stakeholders through the annual budget and forecasting processes, highlighting risks and opportunities to the Finance Director.
  • Lead financial support for various projects, including reviewing business cases, monitoring system setups, and overseeing spend against budget.
  • Provide communication across all levels within the organisation, presenting financial information to non-finance colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, offering feedback or proposing amendments where necessary.
  • Prepare monthly internal management reports for the Finance Director and Executive Board within strict deadlines.
  • Prepare monthly covenant reports and quarterly NHSE external reporting.
  • Deputise for other Finance Business Partners as required.
Your Profile:
  • Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a finance business partnering or similar role.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • A solid understanding of financial performance and budgeting processes.
  • A proactive and confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
