Finance Manager

Up to £55,000 + Hybrid Working


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading business in Milton Keynes. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 and excellent benefits. The company provides innovative products and services to a wide range of industries. As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, from payroll and VAT returns to preparing month-end accounts and liaising with auditors. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a flexible working arrangement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bank account transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, including credit control and invoice processing.
  • Process monthly payroll, bonuses, and pensions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and monthly financial reports.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and the preparation of year-end accounts.

What Experience is Required:

  • Proven experience in an accounting role, with strong knowledge of VAT returns, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Fully qualified accountant would be desirable (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven finance experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial management tools.

Salary & Benefits:

Up to £55,000 per annum.

Location:
Hybrid role with three days in the office in Milton Keynes and two days from home.
