Job Description:

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner looking for your next exciting role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in the Milton Keynes area. This position starts immediately on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and education for children in our early years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall development and growth of the children.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in an early years setting with full teaching responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and Ofsted standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
