JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide effective support services to the firm. Duties will include:
- Draft closing documents and assist solicitors with a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, drafting new leases, lease renewals, developments, deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, and closing disclosures.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed summaries and reports.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Manage and coordinate due diligence processes.
- Maintain accurate and organised case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Manage the preparation and submission of documents for real estate closings, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
- Assist in the formation and maintenance of entities related to real estate holdings, including drafting operating agreements and resolutions.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date case files, including electronic records in the document management system.
- Assist with post-closing matters, including finalising documents, updating records, and resolving any outstanding issues.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Proven experience as an Administrator, preferably in a busy environment
- Knowledge of telecommunications or Digital Infrastructure is desirable but not essential
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels
- Excellent academics and strong ambition for career development
- Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
- Team player
- Negotiation skills
- Organisational ability
