A leading Construction Health & Safety consultancy is seeking a highly skilled CDM Principal Designer to lead an exciting portfolio of projects within some of the world's most iconic sporting facilities. Known for partnering with prestigious clients, this consultancy is dedicated to championing Safety by Design, embedding innovative and effective safety solutions at every stage of the construction process.

This role provides you with the autonomy to manage your projects with flexibility, including the option to work from home, with in-office team meetings required just twice a month to support collaboration and strategic alignment. The Principal Designer Role

As the Principal Designer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of exciting projects, while both acting as Principal Designer and PD Client advisor as you work effectively within a department of 10+ CDM staff.

The CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • NEBOSH Construction (required)
  • Tech IOSH (minimum)
  • APS membership (preferred)
  • Design degree: Architecture / Civil Engineering / Engineering / Surveying (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in CDM or a relevant field
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
