Our client are looking for an experienced CMM Inspector to join their independent company!

CMM Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspection processes to meet customer and internal requirements
  • Supporting the inspection function of the department, carrying out final inspections
  • Liaise with shop floor on product quality issues to support delivery of conforming product
  • Oversee measurements of products / tooling and fixtures as required
  • Follow all health and safety policies and quality management system
  • Report any measurement outputs included in fair and improvement activities
  • Accurately and appropriately measure of product features to determine conformance and non-conformance to drawing / model
  • Improve the inspection process to increase efficiency and effectiveness

CMM Inspector Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge and experience of using manual inspection equipment
  • Holds strong knowledge of CMM
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • IT literate
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100
  • Programming knowledge (Desirable)
  • Experience with a precision engineering environment (Desirable)
