The RoleAs a Computing / IT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate. You will play a vital role in developing students' digital literacy, programming skills, and understanding of IT concepts, ensuring they are well-prepared for the digital future.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress to drive achievement.
- Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting students in developing key IT and computing skills.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the computing curriculum and extracurricular activities.
To be considered for this Computing / IT Teacher position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Have relevant UK teaching experience in Computing or IT.
- Possess an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
- Demonstrate a passion for computing and the ability to engage students effectively.
