Cover Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by supervising classes, ensuring students stay on task, and supporting their engagement with the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students across a range of subjects and year groups, delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a classroom teacher.
• Ensure a positive learning atmosphere by managing student behaviour in line with school policies.
• Offer support to students in their learning activities, answering any questions related to the set work.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and report any issues to senior staff.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in student learning.
• Support the wider school community, including assisting with school events or extracurricular activities as needed.

Previous experience working with young people or in a classroom environment is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with a passion for working with children.
