JOB TITLE:                 Embroidery & Design Assistant

GPS have an exciting opening for an experienced embroidery assistant. Based on site in Milton Keynes working Monday to Friday on days. You will be a key part of the well-motivated embroidery department to assist with, logo sampling, colouring-up new season styles whilst keeping up to date with the embroidery data base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Logo setup, originations & creating DST colour sequences

• Logo sampling, photography & approval Sheets

• Creating new season colour palettes using Madeira Classic threads

• Updating & organising our embroidery reference database

• Putting together colour stories for orders

• Colouring up orders to create colour sheets for in house production

• Administration of embroidery inbox, logo invoicing & updating origination tracker

• Track, monitor, and resolve all customer embroidery issues

• Provide embroidery related support to customers, internal and external

• Prepare embroidery instruction sheets for orders delivered to EU contractors

• Communicate effectively with customers to review details and exceed customer satisfaction

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Confident to speak to a wide range of customers

• A knowledge of Wilcom Embroidery Studio Software, not critical!

• Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Office products; must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Pays close attention to detail; strives for perfection

• Bachelor’s Degree in textiles, embroidery or related field is advantageous

• Industry experience in apparel

• A strong passion for embroidery & design

Salary Circa 25-30K (Neg on experience)
