Location: Commutable to Milton Keynes
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus
Benefits: 5% matched pension, health care, death in service, phone, laptop & 25 days annual leaveThe role of the Estimator - Aluminium Glazing & Facades Systems will involve:
- Estimator position producing estimates for a high end range of manufacturers aluminium and steel entrance doors, windows, glazing systems, facades, sliding doors, bi fold doors, balconies and conservatories
- Analyse project specifications, interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and determine accurate product selection in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
- Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
- Attending meetings alongside the sales team with clients where required
- Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Aluminium Glazing & Facades Systems experience with:
- Must have estimating experience within the aluminium systems market sector market sector
- Experienced user of SchuCal / LogiKal or similar estimating software
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
