The Role
As Head of Accountancy, you will:
- Lead & develop the accountancy team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Manage a client portfolio, overseeing statutory accounts, tax computations, and advisory work.
- Review & improve processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and AML requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor, strengthening client relationships and spotting opportunities for growth.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified ACA/ACCA with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Proven leadership & team management experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102(1A) & FRS 105.
- Experience working in accountancy practice at a senior level.
- A commercially minded individual with excellent communication & client management skills.
- Proficiency with Xero, IRIS, HubSpot, and other accountancy software.
