Butler Rose has been exclusively engaged by a growing, innovative accountancy practice to recruit a Head of Accountancy. The Role

As Head of Accountancy, you will:

  • Lead & develop the accountancy team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage a client portfolio, overseeing statutory accounts, tax computations, and advisory work.
  • Review & improve processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and AML requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, strengthening client relationships and spotting opportunities for growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Proven leadership & team management experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102(1A) & FRS 105.
  • Experience working in accountancy practice at a senior level.
  • A commercially minded individual with excellent communication & client management skills.
  • Proficiency with Xero, IRIS, HubSpot, and other accountancy software.
