Head of Finance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to join a leading organisation based in Milton Keynes. This newly created role offers the chance to shape the future direction of the finance team and the broader organisation. With a competitive salary of £90,000, this position will allow you to take ownership of all aspects of enhancing and ensuring compliance with a robust financial control environment, including SOX compliance.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Finance, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future direction of our client's finance team. You will have full ownership over enhancing and ensuring compliance with a robust financial control environment, including SOX compliance. Your expertise in overseeing timely reporting of accurate financial results will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for consulting with corporate controllership on technical US GAAP matters, overseeing tax submissions, and managing Group and local Statutory Audits. Your ability to work collaboratively with other teams to develop insightful reports for decision-making will be highly valued.

• Oversee the timely reporting of accurate and complete financial results consistent with accounting policies and in compliance with US GAAP requirements.
• Take ownership of the overall financial control environment.
• Act as End-to-end process owner for processes within the scope of SOX.
• Consult with corporate controllership on technical US GAAP matters.
• Oversee accurate and timely tax submissions.
• Oversee the Group and local Statutory Audits
