Position Overview
As a Teacher of History with Psychology, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love for both subjects among your students. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, and participation in extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inspiring lessons in History and Psychology that meet curriculum standards.
- Monitor, evaluate, and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
- Participate in school events and collaborate with colleagues to promote educational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in History and Psychology.
- Proven ability to engage and inspire students at secondary school level.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
