We are seeking a dedicated maintenance assistant to ensure all maintenance work within the hotel and its grounds is completed efficiently, maintaining the highest standards and minimising disruption to guests.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Complete both reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in work areas after completing tasks.
  • Adhere to internal disciplines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support procedures to maintain brand standards and consistency.
  • Minimise disruption to guests while ensuring work is of the highest quality.
  • Participate in property audits and promptly address any action points.
  • Implement practices and technologies to conserve/optimize energy.
  • Monitor and report maintenance stock levels and benchmarking data.
  • Ensure effective record-keeping of all maintenance activities.
  • Attend training and communication meetings as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to undertake training and comply with statutory procedures.
