We are seeking a dedicated maintenance assistant to ensure all maintenance work within the hotel and its grounds is completed efficiently, maintaining the highest standards and minimising disruption to guests.
Day-to-day of the role:- Complete both reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in work areas after completing tasks.
- Adhere to internal disciplines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support procedures to maintain brand standards and consistency.
- Minimise disruption to guests while ensuring work is of the highest quality.
- Participate in property audits and promptly address any action points.
- Implement practices and technologies to conserve/optimize energy.
- Monitor and report maintenance stock levels and benchmarking data.
- Ensure effective record-keeping of all maintenance activities.
- Attend training and communication meetings as required.
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Willingness to undertake training and comply with statutory procedures.
