We're looking for a Multiskilled Engineer on permanent day shift, ideally with an electrical bias to join our experienced and growing team in Northamptonshire. As one of our Multi-skilled Engineer's you'll be responsible for all reactive and preventative maintenance. But you'll also drive your own projects too, so the role will cover: 路 75% PPM and reactive maintenance across all capital equipment - conveyors, packaging, elevators, sieves, grinders and site electrical equipment such as lighting systems, fire alarm systems etc. 路 25% project work including inception, design, build, install, commission. 路 Fault finding and maintenance on the control systems of production machines and plant services. 路 Testing of electrical installations using test and measurement equipment. 路 Preventative maintenance on process and safety systems. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION: Multiskilled Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Electrical Engineer - Food Industry / Plant 聽 You're a hands-on Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer. You might be a Field Service Engineer, looking to move to a single site role or a Single Site Maintenance Engineer or Technician.
Whatever your background you'll demonstrate:路 Experience servicing and repairing a diverse range of capital equipment / machinery. 路 Experience of production plant systems including VSDs, Soft Starts, weighing equipment, sensors, and a variety of process control equipment would be ideal. 路 An awareness of PLC' s (Mitsubishi or Siemens preferred). 路 Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills. 聽 Above all you'll be highly motivated, self-sufficient and thrive on finding solutions in sometimes challenging situations. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 We are an independent family-owned business specialising in the production of agricultural products and the processing of cereals into flour and baked goods.
