Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their individual needs are met and supporting their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development across all areas of the EYFS.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing updates with parents/carers.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive community.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
