We are looking for a reliable and enthusiasticASHP Installers Mateto support our team of air source heat pump (ASHP) installers across our Central Region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the renewable energy sector and gain hands-on experience with low-carbon heating systems. You will assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of ASHP systems under the supervision of qualified engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems at domestic and commercial sites.
- Help with site preparation, including moving materials, laying out pipework, and setting up equipment.
- Support qualified installers in the fitting and connection of ASHP components.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting and measuring pipes, making sure the work area is clean and safe, and handling tools and materials.
- Help conduct routine maintenance and service checks on ASHP systems.
- Follow health and safety regulations and procedures on all job sites.
- Learn and develop technical skills related to ASHP systems and general plumbing/heating installations.
- Provide excellent customer service when on-site with clients.
Requirements:
- Experience:Previous experience in a construction or mechanical trade
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of plumbing, heating, or electrical systems is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in renewable energy technologies.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Physical Requirements:Able to carry out physical tasks and lift equipment/materials as required.
- Driving License:Full UK driving license
- CSCS Card (desirable).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work away from home when required
