Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum.
- Develop structured lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity.
- Assess student progress through regular assessments, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
- Keep up to date with technological advancements and integrate innovative methods into your teaching practice.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing updates on student progress and achievements.
- Contribute to wider school activities, collaborating with colleagues to support both student development and school initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level, particularly at KS3 and KS4.
- A solid understanding of the national curriculum, with the ability to design engaging and challenging lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and teaching excellence.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check and up-to-date professional references.
