The Role :
- Engage in collaborative curriculum planning sessions with students individually or in small groups, whether online or in-person, to align with their learning goals from Key Stage 3 to GCSE level.
- Track student advancement by conducting frequent assessments and providing constructive feedback to guide future instructional planning.
- Maintain accurate session registers to fulfil commissioner mandates.
- Prepare termly reports and document student achievements as mandated for each student, ensuring timely submission in accordance with specified deadlines or as requested.
- To provide opportunities for working with parents and give specialist advice on MATHS.
- To arrange and promote MATHS curriculum activities within the school.
Qualifications:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching credential.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, showcasing a track record of enhancing student performance.
- Solid grasp of the subject matter and a genuine zeal for instilling curiosity and excitement about Mathematics.
- Outstanding communication abilities and interpersonal aptitude, adept at captivating and motivating students from varied backgrounds.
- Dedication to personal growth and a readiness to engage in continuous training and educational endeavours.
