The Role :

  • Engage in collaborative curriculum planning sessions with students individually or in small groups, whether online or in-person, to align with their learning goals from Key Stage 3 to GCSE level.
  • Track student advancement by conducting frequent assessments and providing constructive feedback to guide future instructional planning.
  • Maintain accurate session registers to fulfil commissioner mandates.
  • Prepare termly reports and document student achievements as mandated for each student, ensuring timely submission in accordance with specified deadlines or as requested.
  • To provide opportunities for working with parents and give specialist advice on MATHS.
  • To arrange and promote MATHS curriculum activities within the school.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching credential.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, showcasing a track record of enhancing student performance.
  • Solid grasp of the subject matter and a genuine zeal for instilling curiosity and excitement about Mathematics.
  • Outstanding communication abilities and interpersonal aptitude, adept at captivating and motivating students from varied backgrounds.
  • Dedication to personal growth and a readiness to engage in continuous training and educational endeavours.
