Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work in schools across Milton Keynes, helping SEN students flourish in their educational journey.

This role is ideal for those passionate about making a positive impact on students with additional needs while building valuable experience aligned with your psychology background.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist teachers in fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Offer emotional and behavioural support, empowering students to manage challenges and achieve their potential
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised learning plans for SEN students
  • Collaborate with school staff to support each student's educational and personal development
Requirements:
  • A degree in Psychology (or a related field)
  • Ideally, some experience working with children or in a similar role (6 months preferred but not essential)
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to working with SEN children
  • A DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
