Are you a Psychology graduate looking to start your career in education? Dunbar Education is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology Graduate role in Milton Keynes. This role is specifically designed for Psychology graduates who want to apply their knowledge of child development and psychology in a rewarding educational setting. You will support young learners with additional needs, aged 6-11 years, ensuring their academic, emotional, and social progress in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support, assisting with learning, behavioural, and social development.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement and monitor individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where learners can thrive.
- Track progress and adapt strategies to meet students evolving needs.
Ideal Candidate
- A graduate in Psychology or a related field, with an understanding of child development and SEN strategies.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting learners with additional needs.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
