The Role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in fostering a love for technology and problem-solving while ensuring that all students are supported in their learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Computer Science.
- Inspire students to develop their programming, computational thinking, and IT skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum.
Requirements:
To be considered for this Computer Science Teacher role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- UK teaching experience within the subject specialism.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
