My client due to growth is looking for a HR Assistant to join their business based in Milton Keynes. They offer a great family feel and have a fantastic reputation within their market.

The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing vital HR support across various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and HR administration. This role will play a key part in ensuring a positive and productive work environment, while also ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR databases are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Provide administrative support for HR processes such as onboarding, training and performance management.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and address employee concerns and issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  • Support managers in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Promote positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate records of employee data.
  • Provide general HR advice and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Stay up to date with changes in employment law and HR best practices

This role is based in the office 5 days a week, with working hours 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying a salary from 30,000 - 35,000.
