We are recruiting for a Senior HR Generalist to join a global company who have their UK head office based in Milton Keynes. Please note, this is a 6-month contract, with possible extention. No remote working.

The Senior HR Generalist is required to provide operational HR support in all areas of the HR team. This position will adhere to HR policies and procedures, and nurture employees with HR related queries. Within this role you will work closely with the Head of HR and the extended global HR Team.

Duties:

  • Build and maintain relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional manner, adhering to the highest degree of professional standards/strict confidentiality.
  • Support change management initiatives of the organization under guidance of Head of HR.
  • Actively participating in execution of the HR strategy.
  • Deliver development programs for employees and managers on HR topics.
  • Successfully integrate Corporate HR concepts and processes.
  • Act as a central HR contact person on ALL HR policies and procedures.
  • Effectively lead and manage employee relations issues (end-to-end processes), ensuring successful closure of employee issues.
  • Manage relationships with Trade Unions representatives.
  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders on onboarding, employee relations, talent management, performance management, development, relocation, etc.
  • Participate in and lead the HR and payroll procedures (new hires, terminations, promotions etc).
  • Ensure compliance with local labor law, Corporate & Group directives.
  • Under guidance and request of Head of HR partner with legal and external counsel, where relevant, on negotiating termination, severance agreements, redundancies.
  • Manage the UK employee benefits.
  • Set up and facilitate employee Roundtable meetings.
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained for all HRIS technologies.
  • Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reporting.
  • Lead training and development programs.

Skills:

  • Build rapport quickly and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers.
  • Demonstrated 'cando’ attitude.
  • A strong level of influence and negotiation skills with good judgement and decision making skills.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to manipulate data and act on this, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, with strong Excel reporting skills.
  • Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Able to prioritise a high volume workload.
  • Work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of tasks/projects.
  • Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, preferably in Human Resources or a Business related discipline is preferred.
  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 or equivalent education is preferred.
  • HR generalist experience of the full HR/employee lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of successfully and independently managing employee relation issues.
  • HRIS user experience, Oracle-based systems preferred.
