A well-established distributor of data networking products is looking for an experienced Internal Business Development Manager to join their successful team in Milton Keynes. You must have proven sales and business development experience within data networking products to be considered. In this role, you'll be building strong relationships with B2B customers, growing existing accounts, re-engaging dormant ones, and identifying new sales opportunities within a specialist market.
With over 40 years of industry expertise, the business you'll be joining supplies cutting-edge products to the electrical wholesale market, data infrastructure installers, and industrial end users. They are part of an impressive, privately-owned group that already employ over 2,000 people across the UK.
Role Responsibilities
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you'll be an integral part of the internal sales team. Your focus will be on strengthening customer relationships, driving sales, and providing exceptional service. You will:
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Proactively reach out to dormant accounts and generate new business
- Promote and sell products to customers currently buying from competitors
- Handle incoming enquiries, produce quotations, process orders, and follow up
- Raise awareness of the company's product range and brand
- Occasionally attend external customer meetings when required
Rewards
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will receive:
- Starting salary of 37,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience)

- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch (hours can be flexible between 8:30am - 5:30pm)
