Job Summary

We’re seeking a technically minded individual to join our support and provisioning team at our Milton Keynes Data Centre as a 2nd/3rd Line Support Agent.

We’re looking for an individual that enjoys problem solving and is happy to be part of a team providing support to customers and teams located across our other European Data Centre’s.

Key Tasks:

  • To respond and fix reported incidents with given SLAs.
  • Deployment of new bare metal / Dedicated Servers with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Management of In-house virtualization platforms and services.
  • Managing the provisioning process for new customer orders.
  • Supporting the sales team and customers with enquiries.
  • Support technical projects.
  • Participation in infrastructure installation projects.
  • Providing on-call support (rota’d).

Required Qualifications/experience:

  • Working in cross functional Groups.
  • Good English skills.
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX command line.
  • Experience with Windows Server.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and your own transportation is required.
  • Previous experience within the workings of a data centre would be an advantage.

Welcomed Qualifications/experience:

  • Additional spoken languages would be an advantage (French, Dutch, German, Spanish etc)
  • Experience with Virtualization technologies such as Proxmox
  • Computer Networking Skills or experience with be an advantage
