Application/Platform Support Engineer at interAct Consulting Limited in Milton Keynes

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application/Platform Support Engineer to join my leading client based in Milton Keynes working a hybrid model of 2 days a week in the office. This role involves supporting Java applications with a smaller subset of .NET applications, including front-end web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS services, including Service Bus, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Cache for Redis. You will work closely with various teams within Technology, Software Engineering, Cloud Platform, and Infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance of their applications and platforms.Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Java and .NET applications, including front-end web applications.
Monitor and maintain Microsoft Azure PaaS services such as Service Bus, AKS, and Azure Cache for Redis.
Collaborate with Software Engineering, Cloud Platform, and Infrastructure teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
Perform root cause analysis of application errors and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain documentation related to application support processes and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
Continuously improve system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
